Come Bach JS! This is a poor imitation
I bet you could do a better job... /s
I bet Bach would love it
There has been a tragic story. A young couple has striven for days or weeks across a desolate landscape of manmade or natural disaster - pulling each other through unimaginable hardship. They eventually find their way to the edge of safety when one of them is killed.
It is now 6 month on - and the survivor is standing in a lonely wild place lost in memory. This music is playing.

Edit: I’m enjoying a cold beer and a good book so might just be the perfect companion under those circumstances… 😁
Richter is an interesting composer. Check out "Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons". Fascinating re-think of Vivaldi's, perhaps, Magnum Opus. You can certainly hear a lot of influence from the Baroque and early Classical periods in his work. Much of it is beautifully melodic, lush, and tranquil. It is gutsy to be writing music like this in the 21st century.
