I am all for expanding the RP playlist but I could do without the swearing.
Frankly I'd pick pretty much anything off of Fear of a Black Planet over what I've heard from this latest release. Chuck still seems to have lots to say, but on the whole, I'd say that they're struggling to find that ability to connect on a more emotional level...and yeah, PE isn't that weird of a choice for the RP gang...

I sincerely wish I enjoyed listening to Hip Hop because I really appreciate the art form... I give it an 8 for talent alone...

This is why RP is so good...although not exactly why PE is so good. But they are still going. Chuck D is incredible...

This is offensive to my ears!! I guess Bill is trying to figure out how far he can go before losing his audience! I’m switching to the Global Mix- I will miss most of the more eclectic stuff, but I can’t stand being subjected to (c)rap and heavy metal!! 🤬

Negative Batman!
Of course I've heard of PE but not sure I've heard more than a few lines. Glad it's here. So I rate it high for that reason. I'm 63 and partially deaf in one ear.

I'll take things I never expected to hear on Radio Paradise for $800, Alex.
Emerging in the mid 1980s, this Long Island group, led by Chuck D and Flavor Flav, were pioneers in bringing political consciousness to mainstream hip hop with politically charged lyrics, using hip hop as a platform for activism and social commentary by addressing. issues like systemic racism, police brutality, and media bias.
Who are 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and 2020 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winners, PUBLIC ENEMY, Alex?
