Where's the hiphop channel, Bill?!  Bay Area is a great area to find a dj/curator in that space!
YAS!!!!!
I have never been mad at William for playing anything.

Besides, what you gonna do about it?
I love the reference to Allan Ginsberg's Laws of Thermodynamics in the first and last lines of this song.  Weighty lyrics indeed.  An easy 8.
You missed the operative word in this channel. It has everything. Try another RP channel.

Aren’t there plenty of other places to hear this? I may need to rethink my interest in RP.  Musicality should be a consistent value here. Otherwise what’s the bloody point?

I see a lot of negative feedback. The language is rough but I can understand the editorial content of the lyrics; it expands my mind to new things and  helps me appreciate our diversity. That's why I like rap as a honkie.
I absolutely love that William plays whatever he wants. It's one of the qualities of this station that make it the best in the universe. But nevertheless I hope that he passes through his hip hop phase quickly. The less hip hop I hear the better...
Yeah, what you gonna do about an Ice Cube in your whiskey!
What is RP growing desire to play rap music from 1990 groups...and the new  stuff sounds the same ole as 1990?

It sounds stale, boring, and rehashed.   Even the use of every-other-word profanity sounds old.  It's like these guys are just phoning it in.

What's next for RP?  Kid Rock? Vanilla Ice? The two guys that wore their pants backwards to get attention?
I applaud you, William!  Keep posting songs like this.

Look, I'm OK with the occasional rap song on the main mix. Not a fan of spoken verse and the liberal use of profanity but I take comfort in knowing that something great is just around the corner with Bill at the controls.

I really don't understand why some people draw a line at certain genres. But it does make me glad that William is not one of those people.
Even the IDEA of a radio station that pays amazing music regardless of the genre is incredible.  Getting to listen to it every day is life changing.  Literally.  My life would be so much less good without RP.  Thanks, William.

Well, we hear you saying that, but, as a great man once asked, 'What You gonna Do About It?'

Times being what they are ;) many wonder if just feeling like a victim of the system is enough, and if not, what they gonna do about it.

Exactly
William being William
Playing great stuff
Whilst it may not be to everyone's tastes musically, important topics in the lyrics here, and released at the relevant time.
I do certainly appreciate RP offering up a variety of genres and songs within those genres that get people thinking, discussing and adapting.
I support rap on the main mix.  Just like there's the occasional classical piece, jazz tune or rock song.

More importantly, I support William doing what he wants with his channel.

Diversity? Musicality has many facades, I think.
And actually I haven't heard this anywhere else.
Well I like it but can't sing along.
Nice for a change.  Keep it up Bill.
PLEASE create a rap/hiphop mix!!! that way the purists can not complain and the rest of us can still listen!
I paid to get away from this.........too bad.

Well...didn't see that coming.  Nope, not one little bit...
