When the moon comes up, the sun goes down
Rita starts to creep around
Gets a flavor of blood, fire on her breath
14 names notched on her chest
Gotta rose tattooed on her thigh
Dead men raise and sigh
Makes this young blood wild
My baby's got the Cadillac walk
A Cadillac walk
Cadillac walk
She got a Cadillac walk
When Rita turns down her bed
Grown men plead and beg
Baby, honey, baby, you're the one
Carve your name right on my gun
Ooh, ain't she something nice
Bones rattle my dice
Huh
My baby's got the Cadillac walk
A Cadillac walk
She got a Cadillac walk
She got a Cadillac walk
Lonely late at night, honey hear my call
She said boy I won't make you crawl
Rita pound by pound
Knows how to work it down
Weep and moan to and fro
Leave your heart and steal your gold
No matter what the cost
Them duel exhaust
Make my motor sigh
My baby's got the Cadillac walk
A Cadillac walk
She got a Cadillac walk
A Cadillac walk
My baby's got the Cadillac walk
She got a Cadillac walk
A Cadillac walk
She got a Cadillac walk

Oh, she's goin' out
She got a Cadillac
She got a Cadillac walk
She got that Cadillac
She got a Cadillac walk
Mmm, there she goes
Walkin' on down the road

Saw Willie on a rainy night in the middle of the week in a nightclub that holds 600 with *maybe* 50 other people. Despite the circumstances, he ripped through an amazing set, no encores, bare minimum contract-wise but he gave it 100% and left us all imagining what a difference a good crowd in a better venue adds to a show. Still, it's a treasured concert memory.

Amazing, and - relatable.  I had a similar experience with Doug and The Slugs in the 80's.  Small town me didn't know what to do at a concert, and apparently no one did.  All 75 of us (if that) just stood there.  DnTS played like it was a sold out show.  This became the template by which I've measured concerts and live performances ever since.

Such a happy and fun song!  Great to hear it on RP!
I never heard of him. Great!
Dance on the table. Voice reminds me of Zappa.
wow, haven't heard this one in decades. I had almost forgotten about. I really liked "Coup de Grace" album. I also remember him putting on a good live show...
MD had some great music at the time. It brings back fond memories. And by the way, which ones Mink?
