My love must be a kind of blind love
I can't see anyone but you

Are the stars out tonight?
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright

I only have eyes for you, dear

The moon may be high
But I can't see a thing in the sky

Only have eyes for you

I don't know if we're in a garden
Or on a crowded avenue, ooh

You are here, so am I
Maybe millions go by
But they all disappear from view

And I only have eyes for you

Yep. But the Flamingos made it their own by adding the instrumentation they did and especially the minor note on the last "you"... Making it heartwrenching.
Original is far far better

I don't see anything wrong with doing cover songs other than doing comparisons.
Do you like Starbucks coffee (which is their cover song for coffee) or your own home brew? Both are still coffee although both didn't invent coffee.
Do you like Ben and Jerry's ice cream or Salt and Straws ice cream? Both are still ice cream although both didn't invent ice cream.

I like this version and the original version so that means I like different flavours of ice cream.

Funny comparison as Starbucks "coffee" is mostly sugar.
I'm lucky to just have to cross a border to go to Italy to enjoy real coffee and real ice cream.
With music the choice is easier; if I want to hear this song I would go for the original, any time, just by moving my fingertips.
Doesn't mean it's bad (but Starbucks is, for many reasons).
It's not bad, but I don't think you can improve the original in any way. At least he didn't desacralized it. "It's not much, but it's honest work" !
So a little 5 for effort, with no hard feelings.
I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who has gotten his hands dirty crafting songs from such a wide range of genres while always adding his own flavor to them, never being a copycat.
"I'm a loser, baby
but I only have eyes for you..."

A bit karaoke, and this is coming from a guy who does cover songs. I guess I just expected a little more from Beck than to simply cover The Flamingos.

More from this album, please!

You could start an eclectic radio station using only Beck.

Rock? Check.
Country? Yep.
Hip Hop? You know it.
Techno-Pop? You got it.

And now..... Doowop!
It's possible that only Beck could get away with this.
The Beck you don't expect, great rendition of a classic in disguise of a crooner. Love it
