Why are all the journals disappearing?

Are we afflicted with JAS?  (Journal Attrition Syndrome)?

Is it the Nothing from the Neverending Story?  Will it eat the politikal threads next?  And will someone suddenly appear with a giant flying Cocker Spaniel to save the day?
Or is this just the latest trend among the Clique????

Being a member of the Clique, I made all of my journals private today.

I want to see a flying cocker spaniel. What color is it? I had a blonde one, named Taffy, when I was a girl. My mother had a black one, named Inky, when she was a girl.

Like BHD, I think most, if not all, of the disappeared Journals were either deleted by their authors, or made private by them.
