Edit; you are supposed to take the acid about 2 hours before the XTC for proper effect.

Unfortunately I am one of those relatively physiologically immune people. Most hallucinogenic drugs do not affect me as intensely as most that I have shared the experience with. I have had powerful trips, but with very little visuals. Someday in the right environment, I would like to try a small doses of some of the more powerful hallucinogenics; Peyote, DMT, ayahuasca and the like.

Deft is okay. Old fashioned Glitza is the real ticket. Maybe that's why it's illegal now.

We just had a lot more options when we were younger... some old friends and I used to go out in cow fields and pop the cap off psilocybin growing in cow patties and eat it right there... I hope you have quit smoking cigarettes, kurtster... I smoked 'em for 26 years, and quit in April of 2006... I can tell a tremendous difference...
if I were 20, I would be lighting a cigarette right now... I would be at a disco with a vodka tonic in the other hand...
this past July 4th weekend, I drove to my hometown to see my mother, and I visited an old friend and his wife on Friday night and Sunday night... I have known both him and his wife since we were little kids... my old friend has ALS, and he is in his 4th year... the average life span is five years from the point of diagnosis... ALS attacks the motor neurons... my old friend can't speak, and he can't move anything but one toe to tap a computer keyboard... he cannot chew or swallow, so they feed him through a tube attached at his belly button...
life is Darwin's Law... existential existence... 30 years ago another old friend of mine who is now dead used to say, "Reality is a jagged high..."
Quit smoking tobacco 15 April, the day I went in for my transplant. Done, finished, nada, Patty, too. We are all survivors of something when you get down to it. "Reality is a jagged high..." True story and lucidity is highly underated. Getting older is a source of inspiration and brand new emotions, especially as we live and friends pass.

Recognition, acceptance, moving on. Great introspection, Rob.
