Agree. I get the "they're doing it, so we can too" mentality - but that's for children. CNN took a serious anti-Trump position from the moment he attacked them, which made their analysis biased. BTW the first time I heard the term "killshot" was in a racquetball lesson, and a quick googling reveals that there is a racquetball gear vendor by that name. Also an Eminem diss track, an Elmore Leonard novel that was way better than the movie made out of it (true of most Elmore Leonard novels), a Nike tennis shoe, and (not making this up) a company that makes cornhole beanbags.

Even if heâs not doing it intentionally, it shows a remarkable lack of judgement in light of his audience.
Never forget the suggestion that if things donât go their way they should consider âSecond Amendment remedies.â Was that a call to assassinate? Wellâ¦yes. Yes it was. And Kyle Rittenhouse a hero? And abortion-providing doctors being attacked? And âwhen do we get to use our guns?â And the man storming the pizza parlor with weapons to liberate the children in the non-existent basement?
The GOP has proven itself to be as violent and intolerant as the Taliban. So, a reasonable person these days would be careful to avoid such language.

Context matters. No one is disputing that “kill shot” can be and has been used as a metaphor.

Please read the context of ALL of those examples. None can be construed as some sort of directive to the general public to take matters into their own hands. Mr Watters encouraged Joe Public to ambush Fauci and go for the kill shot.

The "kill shot" I see referenced is regarding taking a video capturing a moment were Fauci is set up and caught as in "dead to rights" Maybe I am the only one here old enough to have heard that expression before.
Its a flipping metaphor. Listen to the shit coming out of the WH regarding the unvaxxed fer chrissakes. You'd think that they were talking about the Jews as scapegoats in the prelude to WW II.

The "kill shot" I see referenced is regarding taking a video capturing a moment were Fauci is set up and caught as in "dead to rights" Maybe I am the only one here old enough to have heard that expression before.
