Surely it is available on CD?

Highway 61 Revisited was the first Dylan vinyl that I purchased. Loved it then and still do.

(Yeah, if you're owld you can remember buying vinyl. )

Or the brilliant double live Before the Flood with The Band as backup where he comes close but doesn't quite succeed in reclaiming All Along the Watchtower back from Hendrix.

I wouldn't recommend any greatest hits compilations because once you get bit you'll want to hear it all & you'll be missing out on hidden gems such as Man In A Long Black Coat to name but one of dozens. Be patient & start your collection album by album is my suggestion.

After seeing I'm Not There, and No Direction I am totally intrigued by Bob Dylan. I just bought Nashville Skyline for about 6 dollars in a supermarker and once again I'm impressed. And mind you, there was a time that I thought the future of music lay in cold synth pop (...love that still too, lol)
