and I said that was opinion, not news. then you said no it wasin't, it was a live report. which was it?
doesn't matter if you saw CNN or not. they were in the tent too showing the same scene. but you only see fox as the evil network when they all do the same thing for a story.

I'm not going to say any more about this, it's not the purpose of the thread, you can have the last word if you want it

Officials Strain to Distribute Aid to Haiti as Violence Rises

Oh. oh.  This is such a difficult situation.  People who are dying of thirst and hungry will definitely get violent.  I even hate that they call it looting... there should be a less demeaning word for those who have the health, strength and will to try to live.

I check in to the Haiti situation once or twice a day, trying to comprehend the overwhelming widespread indescribable destruction everywhere.  the smell alone would be maddening.  Plus pain, thirst, hunger, trauma, grieving, homelessness, heat...

I send what strength I can.

I saw that report, I thought they did a good job of balancing telling the story and preserving her privacy. btw, I saw that same woman in a report on CNN. the report was similar. I don't hear you bitching about that.

more coverage doesn't equal fresh coverage. it's all repeating a few times a hour. no one is getting any better coverage than the other.

fox is covering it just fine. except maybe geraldo's show. I find him too sensational.
Shepard Smith's news program is doing decent coverage. so is Eric Shawn is doing good coverage too.

I am finding even  all networks, especially those that are covering more per hour, aren't getting more or better news, just repeating it a lot.

I found a lot more places to send emails to - there are a lot of "survival" gear companies out there.  More than I would have thought.
