Happy Summer Solstice! The paternal side of my family originated from an area of England rich with Druidism once upon a time, and that is a spirituality I can inherently identify with. And that is why I really love to celebrate. Here's to the longest day!

That is the solar altitude. With the sun that low it's just kind of twilighty all(ha!) day. I might make it in Vancouver, but I doubt that I could live much farther north during the winter.
HJ was very pleased that we made it North of 60 degrees this year. Not sure why. We live at 50 degrees North.
