Husband has gotten 2 pairs of prescription shoes, and the office that fitted the shoes filed all the paperwork with Medicare. We didn't have to pay anything.

Well,the the shoes themselves don't have diabetes but you know the hassle drill.
You're dealing with the durable goods side of Medicare. Way different from the medical side. Make sure that you make copies of everything before sending. Odds are there will need to be resubmissions. Its just the way of the durable goods side. They are complete F'ing idiots.

I need a doctor to send a form to another doctor for approval, then get that sent to another doctor before I can make an appointment with him. The communication politeness discord is deteriorating on my end at least.
