Went to a concert at a local bar last night. The Melawmen Collective played, celebrated vocalist Meeka's birthday and billed the show as a celebration of the Solstice.
I did not hear one "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" from the stage.
BTW, 3/5 of the band members are First Nations and just shy of one third of the audience were FNs.
