In April 2022, Trump shared a 45-minute private flight with Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, according to people familiar with the trip, plane-tracking data and a photograph from on board the plane, which has not been previously reported. They flew together to a Heritage conference where Trump delivered a keynote address that gestured to Heritageâs forthcoming policy proposals.
âTheyâre going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do,â Trump said in the speech.

Yet Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has repeatedly denied knowing about the Project 2025 policy blueprint or the people behind it. âHave no idea who is in charge of it,â he wrote in a social media post in July.
The Heritage Foundation has since 1980 published a book of policy recommendations for the next Republican administration. For this cycle, the foundation set out to convene a coalition of more than 100 right-wing groups, presenting the proposals as a movement consensus under the banner of Project 2025. The coalition involved at least 140 Trump administration alumni.
Roberts also has a relationship with Trumpâs running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), who wrote the foreword to Robertsâs book, âDawnâs Early Light.â In the foreword, Vance called Heritage âthe most influential engine of ideas for Republicans from Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump.â On Tuesday, Roberts announced that he would delay publication until after the election.
What a maroon. Ilk like you must collect conspiracy tales to tell anyone who will listen. The most powerful research tools ever made are at your fingertips - and you have no idea where to start.
I googled Beaker's real opinion on the Project 2025 proposals but came up empty
Plausible deniability. It is a roadmap for specific policies to implement trump's empty platitudes.
If it is unrelated to trump, why are you unwilling to come out against it or at least the parts you are trying to sweep under the carpet?

In case you missed it, Harris was catalogued as the most liberal senator during her time as a US Senator. More liberal than Sanders.
Harris is farther left than AOC. A look at San Francisco is a window into her policies and aspirations.
Harris has led the defund the police movement. Cashless bail. She raised money for rioters.
Wants the border wide open without penalties or prosecution of any kind for illegal crossers.
Wants to completely end private health care and provide permanent public healthcare to anyone who shows up regardless of legal status.
Wants to give voting rights to illegals.
Wants a mandatory gun buy back program, aka confiscation ...
These are just openers.
You view from affair has been distorted. Her record is being brought up as all her statements have been recorded and they will be played back for her benefit. She is already backpedaling so fast she'll get a speeding ticket.
Yeah, I call bullshit on all of that, but to return to the topic on hand, it doesn't change the fact that the democratic party isn't Marxist, and the platform in project 2025 presents the, in your terms, "conversation starter" proposal for implementing the republican and trump policies, in spite of beaker's smoke and mirrors denial that it has anything to do with them. You are unwilling to say anything against the specific problems that many here have brought up. That's tacit support.
Wants to completely end private health care and provide permanent public healthcare to anyone who shows up regardless of legal status.
< sigh.... more chaff>
You know this is how 25+ other civilized countries in the world do it right?
Well they don't end private care, and neither will we. But yeah, most places don't understand medical bankruptcy. And they take care of people, because it's the right thing to do.
To say that the Communist Manifesto is the roadmap for democrats is ludicrous. At not time in the past or up to the present has the party been Marxist. Even the progressive wing is not Marxist. Learn the difference between social democrats and communists. And Harris is firmly in the right-wing side of the party. Her positions resemble the George Bushes more than they resemble Bernie Sanders (who isn't even a democrat, anyway).

If this is a "conversation starter" it is an aspirational wish list of things that you would like to have, right? The republicans and trump have put out a list of proposals that are totally abhorrent and that is the problem people here have.
Project 2025 has nothing to do with the Trump campaign. The problem people here have is they refuse to accept this fact.
If you're looking to find out what Trump's platform actually is, you may want to look at the source:
1.. DEFEAT INFLATION, AND QUICKLY BRING DOWN ALL PRICES.
2. SEAL THE BORDER, AND STOP THE MIGRANT INVASION.
3. BUILD THE GREATEST ECONOMY IN HISTORY.
4. BRING BACK THE AMERICAN DREAM AND MAKE IT AFFORDABLE AGAIN FOR FAMILIES, YOUNG PEOPLE, AND EVERYONE.
5. PROTECT AMERICAN WORKERS AND FARMERS FROM UNFAIR TRADE.
6. PROTECT SENIORS.
7. CULTIVATE GREAT K-12 SCHOOLS LEADING TO GREAT JOBS AND GREAT LIVES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.
8. BRING COMMON SENSE TO OUR GOVERNMENT AND RENEW THE PILLARS OF AMERICAN CIVILIZATION
9. GOVERNMENT OF, BY, AND FOR THE PEOPLE.
10. RETURN TO PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.
To me, I see it as a conversation starter. A comprehensive one, but only a beginning.
The chances of seeing any more than a fraction of any proposals successfully wend their way through Congress is pretty slim.
But you all refuse any conversations. No conversations needed. It is all bad, case clos
Consider it a rebuttal to The Communist Manifesto which is the road map for the leaders of your side.

The republicans and trump have put out a list of proposals that are totally abhorrent and that is the problem people here have. You are saying that people shouldn't complain about the proposals since they will never happen. Kind of like how Roe v Wade was settled law and wouldn't be overturned. Since these are your goals, you own them and quit pretending like they are ok.

It's privatize everything, isn't it? Including the weather disaster warning system.
Let's be fair... it's not everything... but there is time for addendums. So far...
Department of Education: The project suggests disbanding the Department of Education and emphasizes "school choice," directing public funds to private or religious schools. It also proposes privatizing student loans and eliminating the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
Medicare and Medicaid: The plan includes prohibiting Medicare from negotiating drug prices, promoting the Medicare Advantage program (private insurance plans), and making significant cuts to Medicaid. It suggests turning Medicaid into a voucher program and eliminating federal oversight of state Medicaid programs.
Veterans Affairs: Funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs would be cut.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA): The project recommends privatizing the TSA.
Federal Reserve: It proposes abolishing the Federal Reserve and instead backing the dollar with a commodity like gold.
Department of Energy: The project calls for overhauling the Department of Energy to promote fossil fuels and reduce emphasis on green energy sources. It also aims to cut federal funding for climate change research.
Labor Unions: Project 2025 seeks to allow states to ban labor unions in the private sector, make it easier for corporations to fire workers involved in collective action, and eliminate overtime protections and the federal minimum wage.
Federal Student Aid: The project calls for the elimination of the Office of Federal Student Aid and suggests creating a new government corporation to manage student loans.
You know... if you get rid of everything the government does... nobody will have to pay any taxes.
Because I know who Trump is, and I refuse to support a leader and his supporting cast who are entirely focused on making themselves and their friends/supporters richer. I benefit from Trump being President, but I'm willing to sacrifice a bit to support my kids and their kids by leaving a functioning government and infrastructure that supports those in need, provides opportunity to succeed both educationally and economically, protects the environment, and makes the lives of everyone living here safer (both crime and environmentally).
As a recovering Republican, I've come to appreciate that the notion of "meritocracy" and "everyone can succeed" and "American independence" isn't entirely correct. I have serious concerns about DEI and reparations and programs designed to prioritize based on race, sex, religion, etc.... but I appreciate that the playing field has been historically tilted generously in my favor (white, male, European descent). Would I like things to be "great again"... sure, it was a lot easier. Is the far left insane about these programs? Absolutely, but they are a tiny faction despite what Fox News tells you.
History's trajectory on fairness is positive. There are reactions and overreactions, but overall, I feel that diversity of opportunity is positive. Is DEI overdone...yes. Is it worth gutting everything and removing slavery references from textbooks so white kids don't feel bad.... hell no. Should the names of Confederate soldiers be removed from schools? Maybe... but the local community has to see a value in doing so. Of the 300 or so public schools in the country named after rebs, my state has none. It's a tiny issue... that grabs an outsized amount of attention due to its emotional ties. It's like transgender athletes. There are 82,000 college athletes each year. So far, 32 openly transgender athletes have competed. It's not an issue... but it draws a huge cheer every time Trump says it... which is why he says it.
You can have Trump's record. A repeat is what I'm so against. History will be very unkind to Trump, and will ultimately show Biden as a critical leader in the perseverance of the Republic.
So back to Project 2025: You didn't answer the question. Do you believe Trump doesn't know anything about Project 2025?
Yeah, What he just said!
If I had the $ I'd buy up every freaking billboard in every battleground state and emblazon them with "Trump's Project 2025 - Google It! "
