I always thought a Guantanamera was a 2000 lb. Italian female horse.
I had never heard of the movie Big Fish until I heard this song on RP.  I immediately watched it, then watched it again.  Great movie, great song.  Thanks RP!!

Thanks, I gathered that. The point I was trying to make is that if you type in La Jagua, or Cainamera or Boqueron, other small places in Cuba, you're getting the squiggles. So Guantanamo is not getting it probably as it became notorious for the reasons we all know about. Unless widely known and identified as such by the spell checker, geographical names will get the squiggles :-)

Yep, kind of film that has your chin trembling a bit, a mist in your eyes. I notice that this is getting worse (or better?) as I'm watching some of these films with my kids.

According to this obituary Cynaera (Ann) suffered from a subdural hematoma. There's a forum thread dedicated to her.

Even though I didn't know her in person, her comments really seemed to convey her personality. To see them being bumped up makes me think that the internet creates some kind of immortality. I think it's great as long as you're remembered for the right reasons.

Never mind the cremation, which is an awful waste of energy and materials. Just stick my body into a cardboard coffin and plant a tree on top. Might as well recycle valuable nutrients and put a little something back.

Of course,  this is a Pearl Jam song, with the whole band joining in and playing, in the same style to be found throughout their work.  Side by side with their hard and fast rocking are their slow and easy songs, so well chronicled i the "down" side of their greatest hits LP.

Check it out people who like Eddie but not the band.

The most amazing statement in here is abou a super b.s. pearl jam concert.  I've been to dozens.  Fact_ They are the BEST LIVE BAND ALIVE.

Pretty cool song from a very under-rated movie. I loved "Big Fish!" Danny Elfman actually found the original creepy "hillbilly banjo player" from the film Deliverance and cast him in a cameo in Big Fish. A few others, too.

I really and truly dislike Pearl Jam but I have to come clean and admit that I dig this song. Good movie, too.

I got my degree in computer operating systems at CSU Chico just down the hill from Paradise. One of America's first great microbreweries, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, started in Paradise. It's a beautiful place with snowy winters and pine trees in the foothills of the mountain range. Paradise is in Butte county, which makes it a spectacular drive up the mountain with all those flat bluffs. (a butte is a flat-topped mountain).

Wow! I'm in general not a Pearl Jam fan, but this one is realy good. Very very enjoyable. This (again) proves that it is worth listening to every song of any group before blindly rating it - high or low. I'm unexpectedly impressed.
