I knew this was a big mistake
There's a fine line drawing my senses together
And I think it's about to break

If I listen close, I can hear them singers, ho, oh, oh
Voices in your body coming through on the radio

The union of the snake is on the climb
Moving up, it's gonna race, it's gonna break
Through the borderline

Nightshades on a warning
Give me strength at least give me a light
Give me anything even sympathy
There's a chance you could be right

If I listen close, I can hear them singers, ho, oh, oh
Voices in your body coming through on the radio

The union of the snake is on the climb
Moving up, it's gonna race, it's gonna break
Through the borderline

The union of the snake is on the climb
Moving up, it's gonna race, it's gonna break
Through the borderline

If I listen close, I can hear them singers, ho, oh, oh
Voices in your body coming through on the radio

The union of the snake is on the climb
Moving up, it's gonna race, it's gonna break
Through the borderline

The union of the snake is on the climb
It's gonna race, it's gonna break
Gonna move up to the borderline

The union of the snake is on the climb
Moving up, it's gonna race, it's gonna break
Through the borderline

The union of the snake is on the climb
It's gonna race, it's gonna break
Gonna move up to the borderline

According to singer/songwriter Simon LeBon: "The union of the snake is the union of the snake and the man. The snake symbolizes a kind of subconscious power force or strength, and the song is really about the fears of the subconscious mind breaking through to the conscious mind."

Hope that clears it up!

Thank you for the info.

Works for me!

Rebecca, Bill, are you serious? What comes next? Take That? Backstreet Boys?

Wait, what's it gonna do?

D2! Sorry, I love 'em. Didn't care for them so much back in junior high, but now? Pure fun nostalgia. And still a helluva lot more interesting than the generic boy band "hold your hand & love you til the day I die" crap being spurted out now.

pure karaoke gold, too.  I'm always surprised how I seem to know all of the Duran Duran songs by heart...
Great 80s flashback!  Would love to hear anything from their first two albums. Those were their best.
What are the lyrics in this song about?

WTF!? Did RP just get bought by Clear Channel?

LMAO!
At least play Rio. This is making my skin crawl.
At least the lyrics are complex and meaningful.
What a horrible song.
Well this was a nice surprise on a Monday morning!  The 13 year old girl trapped in this 48 year old woman thanks you!  Long live RP!
Try A View to a Kill.... or Election Day(Arcadia).
Id love to hear "Is There Something I Should Know" by these guys. My favorite lyric:

And fiery demons all dance when you walk through that door
Don't say you're easy on me, you're about as easy as a nuclear war

I hated them (I was 20) but this was my favourite song.
More Duran Duran please!  Takes me back to my youth.
Fun 80s flashback song!
Good enough song.  Very good pop album, but the real genius of DD was the preceding album Rio.  That was a very very good rock album.  This album toned it down to pop, and if you looked past the hairspray and 80s outfits, it still had some very good music.
Piffle like this is evidence that Bill has a sense of humour. I hope.

Pure crap.

With an unwelcome odor as well

These guys and Coldplay are the star attractions in my Bad Music Hall of Fame.

I didn't too, but now I do.
I like this song, but really, is that a rewrite of Wild Boys, or is Wild Boys a rewrite of this? They only swapped out a few notes and words here and there, otherwise the two are the same song.
It's not Davis Bowie but good work from 80'
Must be a computer glitch that caused this mess :)
Duran Duran in 1983 was the closest thing to Beatlemania that I have ever seen.
like some others, i do like some dd, just not this or reflex and that ilk. how about: save a prayer, all she wants is, wild boys, come undone. my 2 cents.
What did Bill the Cat used to say? \"Oop, Ack!\" :(
It was awful then and it's awful now.
I love my boys but, there are MUCH better songs we could hear... think I see some more uploading in my future... (now where\'s that crystal ball emoticon when you need it?)
D2! Sorry, I love \'em. Didn\'t care for them so much back in junior high, but now? Pure fun nostalgia. And still a helluva lot more interesting than the generic boy band \"hold your hand & love you til the day I die\" crap being spurted out now.
This was ... uncalled for.
You\'re kidding me, right?
I don\'t even want to know what \"the union of the snake\" refers to ...
Pure crap.
NOOoooooooo!!!
The worst of the 80\'s
Like most of the eighties; \'a whole lotta emptiness going on\'. Talented in the way they could wrap up their music, though. Weak variation on The Reflex, this song.
This is not making for a pleasant morning...
..that\'s \"upload\" Pilgrim! lol! ....LA, sanks. :D

Nsync et al couldn't hold a guitar or any other musical instrument, let alone play them.
Oh LA...if you were gonna download... Duran Duran...why not "New Religion"?? ;)
Is it just me or is it a kind-of strange RP morning? First Depeche Mode, now Duran Duran.
Wow. Brought me back to 1984 for a minute. Not my favorite Duran Duran tune but not the worst either.
I\'ll at least say this much for Duran Duran--they were the least sucky of the sucky bands of the 80\'s. Thanks for the stroll down Memory Lane.
I will take Duran Duran any time I can...cool!!
