This is like the guy who\'s walking around with his zipper open. Someone really ought to tell him, but does anyone really have the heart.
interminable.
Alison Krauss' rendition of "I Will" is the only Beatles remake I've heard that adds anything to and/or outdoes the original. Perhaps a handful equal the original, including a Sarah McLaughlin rendering that I can't recall at the moment. Most others fall short. This one falls WAY short. The original version of this song was such a thoroughly culture-shifting, mind-blowing breakthrough that I can't understand why anyone would want to fuq with it. Leave well enough alone, eh?
Positively awful. Teeth dragging on sidewalk. Devoid of melody.

I don't think anything would help this rendition of an old Beatles song. This was a very poor choice for this style and genre.

Now that you mention it dmax, it does sound like Colin Hay. Good call, good ears.
Perfect pick for a band like this. Just a nice, \"warm\" atmosphere and a sympathetic, soulful singer.
I swear this station is becoming the Official Tori Amos/Counting Crows/Beatles Covers channel...

RIGHT ON! I miss those days.
My opinion is still in the break room mulling this one over. Although I do agree with KevDog, would be much better without the shimmy-shimmy-shong-shong......
what is it with people? so many beatles covers are just head scratchers; why do they think they have to record for all eternity their poor judgement on what sounds good. this is almost as bad as Phil Collins abuse of the same title on Face Value.
Funky! Nice vibes going through me as I listen. I always wonder, though, with these non-English lyrics: what\'s the translataion??? What are they singing? An Argentine friend once told me that it\'s OK not to understand the words - it forces you to pay more attention to the music itself. Maybe he was right.
