Therefore all to see
Selfcontained lovers
Welded orally
No run for cover
I'd join in the fun
If i had someone
But it seems i'm undone
These public displays of affection
Surely your love must be new
I can wait for my mass rejection
I'm always the first thing you queue
Tried to hold your soul
But i crushed your spirit
Why do I feel so close
when i can't get near it
I'm flooded with fear
and it don't disappear
But i'm still standing here
These public displays of affection
Surely your love must be me
So concious of my imperfections
I've never lost interest in me
These public displays of affection
Surely your love must be me
You're not sure over-protection
leaves me with nothing to do
These public displays of affection
Surely your love must be me
I've got no time for reflection
My savior is long overdue
Selfcontained lovers
Welded orally
No run for cover
I'd join in the fun

Far too much Morcheeba on RP. Luckily there's a PSD button.
I remember listening to "otherwise" in college in 2001 - what a great flashback to this album!
i was looking for the term to call that effect. Thanks.

Nice hook.
Over a year since last played? More Morcheeba!
i can't get enough of morcheeba
Everybody in my alien space craft loves the cool guitar lick in this song... time flies when we're having fun...
One of those nice groups, who always deserve, at least, 7 (with Calexico, Morphine and Thievery Corporation in the row). By the way, I'm going to Morcheeba live tonight
Nice hook.

Good point. I'm new to RP but I haven't heard Frank. How can this be?

Nice song... not sure if I have heard it before.
But most things I hear by Morcheeba have been very good.

Okay, did anyone else think "Over my Head" by Fleetwood Mac in the opening strains?
No!

So that's how they got this out of the studio!
If I wasn't in the office, I would test Zappa's theory on this personally....

Normally I would be calling for more Morcheeba. In the case of this song, less Morcheeba is more.
This hits me so right.

better take 'way beyond' from this great album next time...
No redeeming value! In fact, mind numbingly dull!
intonation?
Who doesn't enjoy a little dose of public displays of affection...

Wow, I was just thinking the opposite. The more I hear it, the more I like it.

bought this cd just because of RP and hearing this awesome band here... love it love it love please please please play more of it!!!!
Lesscheeba, please. I\'ve run out of insulin.
Wow...first the Andrews Sisters, then Cake, then Morcheeba, not to mention Johnny Cash a few songs ago. Can it get more eclectic or more satisfying? I think not. RP forever!
another morcheeba song this afternoon - getting me to the weekend
Thanks again RadioParadise-
Here\'s another artist I probably would never have
heard, (or taken the time to check-out,) if not
for your incredible station.
I really Like this song, (exclaimed with no minor
amazement!!!)
:p
p.s.
This song has grown thinner and thinner the more I\'ve heard it. The repetitive guitar lick in the background starts to eat what\'s left of my brain.

OK, as of this afternoon I\'m Morcheeba\'d out. Perhaps a little less of them?
I've heard more of this band, along with Moby, than anyother since I started listening to RP about a month ago.
Still does nothing 4me, even in this context.
Interestingly crafted lyrics on an often controversial subject. Great musically, too.
I have been hearing good things from Morcheeba for the past year but this song did it, I went out and bought all of their CD\'s... ... I was not disappointed. What a great band...
