How about RP expanding its stock playlist choices to "Favorites Du Jour" or something like that. Only RP Supporters Favorites Lists would/could be candidates. Or, a list of Supporters having a Favorites List could be presented for choosing.
That might be fun. I think the first one would essentially be the same as RP's alltime favorites, which is as far from anything I'd want to listen to as any commercial radio station. Plus it's the 3- and 4- rated songs that make RP great. ANYone can program a station that is only favorites.

That's true. It's interesting that it was written by the same guys who wrote "Hound Dog", "Yakety Yak", "Jailhouse Rock", "On Broadway", and "Stand By Me", among many other classic hits.
You know, you hear that song as a young person and it does influence the rest of your life.

I thought that his thing with Courtney Barnett was heard here but evidently not. He played near here (100 miles away) last summer but midweek and I couldn't go. I agree he'd be a decent fit here at RP.
Yes, same!!
I'm sure Kurt Vile would be a hit with some, not others - his style, of course, isn't for everyone. He's got the voice you either find whiny or magical; I would fall into the latter category. I just love him. I could imagine the comments would be similar to those I see when Neil Young is on RP (of who I find godlike).
I think I would have had to take a day off work to attend that concert you mentioned. But a midweek concert 100 miles away - I'm too old now to make it to work after something like that.
So what Iâve heard is some people not happy that promos of 2050 and belching Germans who are irritating people that are taping the feed for their own personal use?
Sorry but Iâm having a beer with a German, Irish and Canadian descent friends. Please excuse my belching friends while we do our IPA tasting.
My vote is for bringing back the live cam of the new digs where all the good stuff happens. Maybe a few puppies sniffing around and the crew walking by and waving with a 2050 sign.
Having lived in Heidelberg & Mannheim and sat in more than a few beer tents (albeit as a kid with my older sister) and being of Irish descent myself, a tip of the tyrolean to your & your friends!

Here's my thought: When's the last time Kurt Vile was played on Radio Paradise...
Which turned into - Has Kurt Vile never been played on Radio Paradise? OMG. I did a search and didn't find him. This can't be true, right?
