Thanks. It was a fun but it took longer than I expected (lots of sketches and working out perspective and hair styles). At first I thought of doing it in a monochromatic, turquoise palette then I realized the shag carpet had to be orange.

A friend of mine scored a bunch of art supplies recently at a flea market in Raleigh and shared some with me - including a number of canvasses. A small skull painting I've been working on the past few days. Acrylics on 1.5'-deep canvas 6" x 6".
Duck-Girl was aware that the loutish man, with the ill-fitting, garish suit had been following her for some time.

I wanted a more "graphic" look for this piece and made stencils of the rocket-ships and skyline, then added details later.
