In case you are curious and the print is crazy tiny like it is on my screen, here are my "intentions":

1. Love without strings. Forgive completely.
2. Be audaciously imaginative. Check in every wardrobe.
3. Live imperfectly with great delight. (stolen from curlygirldesign)
4. Don't just hear - LISTEN. Don't just look - SEE.

So I don't even know what to call this link.  (It goes to vimeo so you know it is safe.)  Lindy talks about her struggle with trolls.  But it is so much more than that.  (via NPR)

If you, like me, have more than enough on your to do list and are looking for a distraction, check out Brite's series of articles called "You're Missing" - although considering the caliber of music aficionados on this site you probably aren't actually missing them.  Still, it is fun to be reminded of some of the greats who might have been forgotten.  Recent articles have covered Memphis Minnie and Ted Lucas.

Hope you enjoy The Rosebuds as much as I do.  Ivan's voice makes me swoon.

This is the time of year when we remind friends and family how much they mean to us.  Often with gifts.  Usually with food.  You are all very dear to me, so here is my gift to you:

The Rosebuds cover Sade's Love Deluxe

One of my favorite bands, covering a favorite artist - what could be better?  Oh, you want it free?  OK, if you insist.

Can't get enough of the Rosebuds?  Check out their Christmas album, also available on bandcamp. Or just read what they wrote about Christmas music as a genre.
