The Wilson Building is on lockdown until further notice pending confirmation that all suspects in the Holocaust Museum shooting have been apprehended.   Anyone may leave the building but no one other than councilmembers and the Mayor will be allowed to enter until MPD and the Federal Protective Service police secure the area.

This was what was issued.  The building is now open. 

Guess they were not concerned if we left the building and were shot on the street.

A shooting in the Holocaust Museum in the District.  Don't know anything other than that; could not get back in my office building downtown because it had been temporarily locked down. Just let us back in.

my friend who was on the swiss air flight 10 years ago was with both her parents and her brother, her whole family.  her brother flew in from cali, her parents from mass and she was in nyc, they all flew out together from kennedy airport.   the company handling their will had a hard time tracking down the next of kin.   we friends had to clean out her rented apartment.   I guess her fathers nephew who lived in GB took care of the house in massachusetts.

In the papers today; young Swedish family split up,in fear of accident.The father with older child is now missing his wife and baby!

that said.  this is all very sad.  I'm getting flashbacks of when my friend was killed in a plane crash about 10 years ago on swiss air.  it took all day for us to get word that she was definitely on that plane.

Is it strange that there's no news of the pilot making a Mayday call?  Could this have happened so fast that there wasn't even time for that?

Me,I am just waiting for some one to claim the "Kill"! (either way ,very sad news,two maybe four swedes on the plane)
