If you're making it with Photoshop, do Save for Web & Devices. I've had that happen before and when I did that, it worked.

The image has to be 80 x 80 pixels (or less) and needs to be in .gif format if I remember correctly.

I've been trying to upload a pic for my profile and I keep getting a message that it's not a valid .JPEG, etc. Is there a certain process I have to go through or is there a certain size the avatar/pic has to be?
