Our friends, who have a BIT more money than us, invited us to diner at the clubhouse at Indian Wells Country Club.
A real nice evening was there for us.

Faintly visible here in NE Ohio at the moment. 11.15 pm ET. Supposed to be visible as far south as Alabama oveIr the next two days I was just told on the local TV weather.
I learned recently that the intensity of Aurora Australis doesn't track exactly with the intensity of Aurora Borealis but I have a friend who is down on the coast trying to get a view and photos. Unfortunately a low pressure system moved in so she may not see anything. If it clears up I may try to find a dark spot to look. At least we needed the rain.

Correction, however, it was $15,000, not what I heard as $50,000. Still a lot of paperwork and took 3 bank employees to accept it, with their own layer of paperwork.
Yep. Anything over $10K typically triggers AML paperwork & reporting - both sides of the border. Because as we all know, more paperwork always stops illegal activity ...
Big trucks and high end cars remain a popular - and legal - choice for those needing money washing services. Not saying that this particular customer was in such need ...

Someone paid for their new truck with cash. For the record that's about a 3" stack of Benjamins.
