Our friends, who have a BIT more money than us, invited us to diner at the clubhouse at Indian Wells Country Club.
A real nice evening was there for us.

I learned recently that the intensity of Aurora Australis doesn't track exactly with the intensity of Aurora Borealis but I have a friend who is down on the coast trying to get a view and photos. Unfortunately a low pressure system moved in so she may not see anything. If it clears up I may try to find a dark spot to look. At least we needed the rain.

Yep.  Anything over $10K typically triggers AML paperwork & reporting - both sides of the border.  Because as we all know, more paperwork always stops illegal activity ...
