Ok...I think I was pretty confusing when I tried to explain my plan last time so...wish me luck!
January is the last month before the 4 original pods rotate out. Rather than have the newer pods rotate at different times from this, I have decided to rotate EVERYONE into new pods starting the month of February. This is how I intend to make this happen:
* Everyone's co-host order is already set because the club is set up for you to send out a mixtape to your pod once every 5 months.
* Therefore, February 2010 co-hosts are going to be Me, Welly, NWG, Margie (my high school friend) PLUS the new-ish people who signed up for February in their current pods (Yibbyl, Katie, Matt).
* Everyone else's order was set up the exact same way. For example, if you sent out your mixtape to everyone in November, you are due to send out another mixtape in April. And if you joined after November, but signed up for April, you still get April. If you need to switch months with someone in your pod, no worries - just let me know the final verdict once you do so.
* The new list I have created simply rotates you out of your old pod into a new one. All new pods consist of members who have not been in each other's pods before.
Here are the results:
New Mixtape Culture Club Pods:
not-a-fish - February (2/12/10) OCDHG - March (3/12/10) lily34- April (4/16/10) jagdriver - May (5/14/10) rachlan - June (6/11/10) ********************************* Margie - February (2/12/10) ScottFromWyoming - March (3/12/10) mem_313- April (4/16/10) Sean-E-Sean & meower - May (5/14/10) pdxbiker - June (6/11/10) ********************************* Welly - February (2/12/10) rmgman - March (3/12/10) PoundPuppy- April (4/16/10) SeldomSeen - May (5/14/10) NoEnzLefttoSplit - June (6/11/10) ********************************* newwavegurly - February (2/12/10) Jimi_the_Saint - March (3/12/10) OmegaConcern - April (4/16/10) Laurie - May (5/14/10) Kat - June (6/11/10) ********************************* Yibbyl - February (2/12/10) rosedraws - March (3/12/10) Alafia - April (4/16/10) kurtster - May (5/14/10) phineas - June (6/11/10) ********************************* Katie - February (2/12/10) Alexandra - March (3/12/10) Lazy8- April (4/16/10) Zep - May (5/14/10) maryte & dionysius - June (6/11/10) ********************************* Matt - February (2/12/10) driver8 - March (3/12/10) pdhski- April (4/16/10) Deidre - May (5/14/10) lunar1963 - June (6/11/10)

International Mixtape Project"Each month you will be assigned someone to make a mix for. Not only will you send and receive great mixes you may also make a few new friends too. They will even go out of the country depending on where your mix partner lives! Make 2010 the year of great mix trades!"

newwavegurly wrote:What, you want people to burn your CD all special-like? The nerve of some people. I didn't think this was a problem with the CDs I made... that the tracks had the info embedded in the file, even the expanded and burned version. Unless I'm being all dumb and stuff,* it just comes in as "track 1" "track 2" etc. *quite likely. It seems like this would be doable. I even check the "include CD Text" box in case that has something to do with it but when I pop the disc in another computer it comes in "track 1" again.

So I'm guessing there ARE new people, aside from me, NoEnz, Alafia, NWG's sister and NAF's friend.
sorry, i thought your question was if there was going to be a shift of who is in each pod (and i think there is). i misunderstood you. and i can't answer your questions. except that people sending the disc ea. month host that month. that was what i thought!

The explanation as to what she's planning on doing with the shuffling of people to create the new pods is the start of that post. That said, the original hosts were NAF, Welly, NAF's friend M, and myself. There were only 4 pods to start this whole thing off. Is that what you just bumped for me? Because if it was, it was a little confusing. I have a client about to walk in, so if I don't see it in the next minute or so, I'll come back later. Thanks!

what is a cohost? NAFFIE told us who was in charge of each month and sent us addresses, but I thought that was b/c she ended up being our pod's first set of CD's cohost ~ b/c our group formed late.... i think.
You know...I just won't worry about it. I will make my CDs and have them ready for any sort of change-up. So far, no one's thought of my theme, and it's going to be FUN!
