I unnerstand. From TMZ: PDATE 3:11 PM ET — Sources tell TMZ Brittany Murphy's mom discovered her unconscious in the shower. We're told when paramedics arrived, they quickly determined Murphy was in full cardiac arrest and immediately administered CPR. They continued CPR in route to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center — several miles away — and Murphy was unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Very sad - I was never a big fan of hers until I saw this movie.  Very cute.

That's what I've found so far... not a single reliable source only TMZ.

Yeah, she supposedly had an eating disorder for a long time. Not sure why I'm curious, as I wasn't a fan. I think it's because you questioned TMZ, and now I want to know if it's true, too.

I'm not sure why I care either... maybe just skeptical.  There's a dead celeb who's not really dead every day of the week lately.

New York Daily News and the Atlanta Constitution-Journal are the 2 most reputable sources I've seen. It's spreading pretty fast to lots of internet sites, too. Not sure how reliable those are, though.

People's picked it up too but all the articles quote back to TMZ.  I admit.  I'm curious to see if it is or isn't true.  The pics I'm seeing of her, she is horrifically thin - may have been a factor if she did have a heart attack.

Cookie where are you seeing it, because I still can't find it anywhere but TMZ?  Not even People.  And they're not even remotely reputable but this is their specialty area.

Also notoriously not reliable on things like this.  I wouldn't worry just yet.  If some celeb's death isn't being faked, its just not the internet.

It may be true, but I'll wait to believe it until a reputable source confirms it.

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."
