Well considering who is in office and calling all the shots, I'd say that Diebold has breached its contract with the Republicans. Either that or they took money from both sides with the highest bidder (say, didn't that Obama guy have a billion dollar campaign fund ?) getting the right counts.

Just an observation.
Every human is guilty of lies and hypocrisy. But the Republicans have mastered it to an artform. How else could they get so many votes from the middle class when they really represent the interests of the wealthy top 2%??

What's up with that Glenn Beck guy? I mean he has always been more than a little off; I occasionally caught his shows when they had our TV at my old job locked down to news channels and he was the only thing I could be entertained by on Saturday nights. I used to think; wow, what a fruitcake, he funny. Now, it's like....... .........

Its really quite simple. Ultimately and historically, the Republicans exist to represent the interests of the very wealthy and Big business. The Democrats historically represent the interests of the midddle and lower classes and Small business. Almost every social advance in this country has been legislated by the Democrats and OPPOSED by the Republicans. Unfortunately, the Big corporations with all their incredible accumulated wealth have succeeded more and more in heavily influencing the Democrats as well. The Blue Dog or Corporate Democrats especially. Even the Progressive Democrats arent immune to corporate donations. Independent Bernie Sanders is the only true Progressive left.

Getting Democrats to agree on something is like herding cats as they ssay. You got your sellout Blue Dog Corporate Dems like Clinton and your Progressive "We the People" Democrats like Feingold. Mark_E_DeSnow wrote:Between 1981 and 2009 Republican scumbags controlled either the Presidency, and/or the House, and/or the Senate. There was only one time during this era where the Democrats had the clear advantage. This was during the first two years of Bill "Bend Over" Clinton's administration when they had a majority in both houses. The Democrat-in-name-only Clinton couldn't even maintain this state of affairs for very long; both houses were lost in the so-called Gingrich revolution (AKA Contract on Working Class America) of 1994, one of the worst political disasters in American history! We are still suffering the fallout from the fascist Gingrich era.
