Peanut butter.
Think about it, don't summarily dismiss the thought. Peanut butter, slathered all along the length of the dog. The warmth of the hot dog melts the PB, it slides and glides to form a bed upon the bun. Then slap a little mayo on top of that, squish it closed and YUMMM! Take a big bite, let the PB and mayo form a texture of smoothness as it carries the chunk o' dog down your throat. Roll your eyes in delight.
