Repaired a severely destroyed window sill and brick molding before winter sets in. Had to fake the sill with a makeshift 2X4 cut and spliced into the remaining sill. Then replaced the brick molding with the plastic type.

Take that you damn termites and carpenter ants bastardges.

The detergent just makes it all the more volatile. And of course if there IS ammonia then you're getting actual chlorine gas straight up so hey. Verdun.

I found out the hard way about 25 years ago.  Had no idea.

Tried it in a shower stall at my plaza on the Ohio TP.  Barely made it to the outside.

On the other hand, the worlds best concrete cleaner is #2 Diesel and Tide !

Spread some diesel on the driveway, sprinkle on Tide like Parmessan Cheese, get a stiff bristle broom, scrub hard, rinse real well with water using a pressure nozzle of some sort.

You can eat off of it when your done.  Gets everything but rust stains and most paint.  Does not harm asphalt when rinsing.  Obviously you keep it off of asphalt directly, the diesel will eat it, but the rinse will not.

If that doesn't get it off, it will kill you in the process and then it doesn't matter anymore.
Seriously though, do not ever mix dawn and bleach  {#Stop}
You only get one chance to make that mistake.

Greenpad for scrubbing.

Yes I used to clean up some victorian tiles.It worked well on some of the stains. Works on marble also.,Have to let it sit a while and the baking soda draws it up.

I've tried it on the old sink (did not help with those really serious stains), but not the tiles... might be worth giving it a go.
