Certainly unions are an important omission. My bad.  I use the groups I mentioned es examples , not even nearly a complete list.  Right now, here in MN we are having "right to Work" disputes and our neighbor WI has made headlines over union and right-to-work issues.

Well, here is what they are doing in Chicago. I am not really involved with the movement, so I can't give you details of their accomplishments. That isn't what this convo was about anyway.

The intentions are not to "stick it to the man" but to improve life for the poor and working class in the US and the world. The encampments are just the tip of the iceberg, there is a tremendous amount of work going on that isn't in the papers every day.
