I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my parents, who love to sit outside, but typically do not do so in the late fall/winter time because it gets too cold. They used the gift very soon after I gave it to them. They have taken it out on the pontoon boat and kept the whole boat warm while fishing, but mostly they just use it out on the patio at night. My sister lives next door to my parents, and reports that they used it almost every cool/cold night to sit outside. She has also let me know that sometimes they drink too much wine, and they sit out there under the warm glow of the heater and serenade the night with music they grew up listening to. She is vowing to get revenge on me for this, as their state of inebriation is such that they are apparently singing loud enough to be heard through her closed windows. Aside from the bad juju being sent my way, it's a great product, especially on a good sale.

this was a point of conversation a few years ago... while it seems like something a person could get from ebay or the Goodwill store for 99¢, there are some technologies out there (Court Recorder systems, etc. IIRC) that would need to be scrapped if these aren't available. Or something. Probably having to do with military contracts that specify exactly that machine and nothing else will do. But yeah it's weird.

Yeah, I remember noticing something like that a few years ago.  It makes me wonder if anyone is actually spending over $300.00 on a microcassette recorder somewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars  My Wonderful Wife...

By Amazon Customer on January 25, 2015

I got my wife an Amazon gift card for Christmas, and she used part of it to buy this book. My health hasn't been the best lately and I've been very busy at work, so I think that she's being very prudent in learning how to deal with "final expenses" and take over the household finances and maintenance of the house and car. Yesterday another book arrived for her from Amazon: A Field Guide To Toxic Plants Of North America. I have such a thoughtful wife! She knows that I have a number of life-threatening allergies, and she wants to make sure that I stay away from anything that might harm me. Gotta go now, it's dinner time. She's made me a big salad that she says will end all of my worries about cholesterol.

It's not a belt that you can hide thing in, but it is a belt you can carry things with. It's not a belt you can use to run your water pump in your car, but it is a belt you can use to hold up your pants.
I needed a belt to hold up my pants.
This is a good belt for holding up my pants.
I recommend you buy this belt if you need a belt to hold up your pants with.
Oh, yea, shipping was normal!

Yeah, I can see that. We never went there but if you expect them to put down the e-Crack long enough to go to the terlet on their own, when they're still okay with shittin' everything up, you're gonna lose.

And this one is worth it:
"UPDATE: I have dropped my review down to 4 stars. Currently, my left buttock is securely lodged in the seat. While I wait for the fire department to arrive, I wanted to share my further experience with this product. Since I was unable to Facetime for help (less than ideal Wifi access) and had fallen over during my struggle, it wasn't until the mailman found me on the front porch that I was able to call for help. It clearly needs some sort of safety mechanism to prevent cheek lock."

After reading them I haven't been hit by anything bigger than a diesel bus. Thanks captain!"

And, please to be noticing that this is the SECOND EDITION.

The reviews are great and the title obviously got the interest it was supposed to. I do want to point out that my kayak coaching spent some time on the subject of how to cross shipping lanes. And then there is the story of a freighter showing up in Japan where they noticed a mast from a sailboat tangled in the anchor chain...
