I'm having problems with PSD playing nothing at all.  Every time I hit the button (on an updated version of Chrome if it matters) the song title comes up but nothing but silence ensues.  I'm just assuming this isn't a John Cage joke?

Hit it, got a cool song from  Jamshied Sharifi and when it was over, Porcupine Tree came back on. Before it did, though, I noticed the player said it was giving me Led Zep Houses of the Holy. I did not hear that song. I clicked Porcupine SkippingDevice again and got REM. Before that song ended, the player switched to saying I was hearing Alpinestars, but I did NOT hear Alpinestars. The REM song ended normally and we returned to Crowded House in the main stream. I do not know if it was near the beginning of CH or not but I think not.

Mac, Chrome, Mavericks OS

Summary: New PSD gives me one song, returns to the main playlist just as it used to. Playlist shows 2 songs for every 1 SomethingDifferent song played.

*bump* to get it back up where Bill might see it

edit: Haven't been able to repeat this, a week later...

Thanks. Got that one already.  Actually wrote a script that's replacing all of the mislabeled PSD tracks, so that problem should be history by tomorrow.

For What It's Worth is playing but the PSD shows Alice's Restaurant and once FWIW was over silence ensued until I hit PSD again. The Decemberist's  medley was playing on the main channel at the time.

Edit....
Velvet Goldmine is playing but PSD shows That Smell should be and again silence until I hit PSD again. Band Of Skulls playing on the main.

OK. Found the problem. The new PSD code wasn't seeing the position of the volume slider. Should be OK now.

When the PSD starts it is still perceptively louder but if I move the volume slide in either direction the volume decreases and when I return it to the default the deviation is pretty close with the PSD being just a little hotter.

I hit the PSD at 11:14 this a.m. and got George Winston, according to my playlist, but Thom Yorke was singing, and the volume was cranked up. I would've written it off as a fluke without mentioning it, until I saw this current thread.

Where do you have the volume slider adjusted?  The slider should affect both, but perhaps that's broken for you.  What browser?
