Single-digit cold with a dry light snow coming down. Made a fire (meaning, pushed the button) & sipping hot chocolate with little marshmellows after taking the pup for a nice walk - he was a bit stir crazy & loved the cold.
This has been a bit of a tough week. Our other pup has been having health issues for a good while & took a serious dive in the past couple weeks. Turned out to be colon cancer. Had to screw up the courage to have her put down & out of pain on Wednesday. Rescued her as a puppy 9 years ago, such a sweet companion. My other pup was confused & sad for a couple of days, kind of breaking out of it now. Seems a lot quieter without the two of them playing in the house.
Been grieving & remembering the great times with her.

Came home from the the last 3 business trips to San Antonio over the last several weeks, so nice to see the beautiful purple mountains majesty of the Rocky Mountain Front Range out the window flying home. No trips planned until late September when we're going to Europe for a couple of weeks - Germany, Amsterdam, a couple other places. Settling in for a gorgeous Spring & Summer.....
