i always try "uncle" first and "lomax" second remember, it's important to keep your condroizal in alignment with your headlights
Lomax? Isn't that a Dr. Seuss character? Is that even a word? ð You really feel the need to get a fix on whether the word contains an "x" or not? Putting that aside your second word also contains an "l" which seems like a wasted opportunity (unless of course you got a hit on an "l" in the first try).

I'm not entirely sure getting letters early is the best strategy, particularly in hard mode, because then you are stuck with them. I frequently use BRINY to start with, which often fails to get a single hit, but it narrows down the following options a lot.
When I do go for early hits, TEAMS is good, as a lot of words finish with S. T is the most common consonant IIRC, and E and A the most common vowels (again relying on my shaky memory here). If TEAMS fails I then go for CLOUD.
The times I have failed is when you set the vowels early, but are confronted with a huge number of possible combinations of consonants, e.g. xAxEx
I havenât been playing Wordle long enough but Iâm kind of stuck on the additive approach as it hasnât failed me yet. Not sure about your âSâ theory above as it is most used to indicate a plural and I donât think I have seen a plural word as a Wordle answer yet.
Yes, I said I use it and used it on this morning’s Wordle as well. I’m not sure what you meant when you said “So much for “audio”.
Or are you saying that you tried it and it didn’t work for you? It hit on two letters this morning so it was a decent starting word.
Yup. I had tried RADIO before too...

He got a seven figure check for something that he did as a hobby plaything. It went viral, he got some fame/notoriety and an offer. I'm sure there is some larger value (evidenced by the NYT offer), but I'd also take that check and run. Sometimes you want to take those chips off the table.
