Yeah I remember jouncing but this was more recent, even... a more modern word that the stodgy old audience just couldn't abide.

I sometimes go to the hints/comments to see if there's more than one pangram etc., but I don't scroll down to where that one guy gives hints for every word because those are just spoilers.

People in the comments section lost their minds a couple of weeks ago when the pangram was a slang word or really a non-word like irregardless.

Part of my survive 2024 plan is to stay away from most comments sections.  I have a couple of group chats that I'm really struggling with as well. So far I'm doing pretty good. Maybe this will make me a better (or just different) person. in the interim we'll just wait and see.

Or just possibly my strengths are elsewhere.

i don't read the comments, but that's where they post the hints every day - and sometimes they help so that's why i scroll through to look <shrug>

I'm getting frustrated with some slang/informal words working and other perfectly good words not. And sometimes foreign words are fine others not (today has a one letter variance where one works and the other doesn't). Also frustrated that I just can't find that many words or tune into this puzzle. It took me a while for connections, but I've kind of figured it out.

Several compound words - some of which I would probably use hyphens for, were I to write them.  Hyphens are out of style these days though.

i didn't even make it to genius today...lost patience. just 32/48 for me.

i also checked out the "hints" and for some reason, they are defaulting in a different way the last 2 days, not sure i like it. harder to get to the actual hints and have to scroll through hundreds of "comments" to get to them. it's very annoying. oh, well!

One of the C-words is nothing anyone uses ever but when you see it you'll go "ah, of course."
