We got asked over to a friendâs home for Thanksgiving. All our family is in Texas so weâre always like orphans for this holiday, so weâre really looking forward to it. Going down to Texas the week leading into Christmas to see the clan.

I've done it with a sturdy chef's knife. Works pretty well. Mark Bittman recommends cutting up the turkey into separate parts so that you can vary the cooking style to match the type of meat.
