Wow! and holy shit they just threaded a 60-year-old tape onto a machine and let it roll? Without hooking it to a system to digitize it on the first pass? Crazy! But I want to hear it.
Yeah, I would love to hear it, too. I hope that it gets released in some form, if not to buy, just to be able to listen.

Caught Todd, Christoper Cross, Joey Holland, Denny Laine, and Jason Scheff with Prairie Prince & Gil Assayas doing Revolver/Rubber Soul and some of their individual hits over the weekend.
LOTS of fun, since they got to walk on/off as the songs required, and that kept them interested.
Recommended it theyâre coming around your way.
Very enjoyable show. Not bad for a bunch of "old" guys. Prairie did a good Ringo impersonation I thought. Joey Molland seems like a fun guy to hang out with.

"The rise of rock and roll couldn’t be ignored, so “The Carol Burnett Show” did its best to embrace “what the kids are listening to” and this is what you got. Bobby Gentry as “Paul,” jamming her long hair under a Beatles wig and pretending it wasn’t all pointy. (We’ll forgive that Paul’s a lefty.) Gwen Verdon as “George” but playing a keyboard for some reason. “John” – aka Phyllis Diller – wiggling her fingers on a mellophone and definitely skipping the “I’ll get high” part of the song."

I sat through all 8 hours...mostly watching...sometimes as background music... and found it to be amazing, insightful, boring, extraordinary, repetitive, and captivating.
Almost finished it.
Yes to what you said.
Ringo cracked me up. He was just a steady man behind the drum set. Seemed to stay away from any controversy. Interjected his wit when needed.
George looked upset most of the time. I can understand that. He was ignored most of the time.
It was amazing watching John and Paul work songs out together.
And Paul was a work horse... cranking out song after song.
I really liked when they were just having fun together... like buddies playing in the band.
Yoko can't sing.

Great review! I have yet to watch and am probably hesitating for those expected reasons....
not yet, but I read the reviews. Macca sitting in a corner playing with a riff on his bass guitar that subsequently evolved into Get Back.. i wanna see that.
Saw that last night. The Better Half™ was nonplussed that I had trouble speaking and my eyes were tearing up.
