what is your take on the budget? They are cutting costs in lots of areas, but massively increasing defense spending. Are you ok with that?
Personally, I was hoping he would in fact start a massive Keynsian type drive to invest in US infrastructure, but there is no mention of it, which actually does surprise me, given that he has followed through on his other promises, like the wall and a travel ban for Muslims. Am I missing something? Or is Trump not actually running this ship after all? he says a trillion dollar plan to rebuild infrastructure (from cnbc back in jan) At a rally in Iowa last month, Donald Trump revealed a little more about his $1 trillion infrastructure plans. "My administration will follow two simple rules," he said. "Buy American and hire American." That's surely welcome news for the many U.S.-based construction, engineering and architecture firms who are salivating over the massive stimulus that may soon be coming their way. It's also good news for their investors, who could see equity gains climb higher as some of that $1 trillion in funding starts making its way into company coffers. Indeed, infrastructure stocks have climbed since the election, with the MSCI USA Infrastructure Sector Capped Index up nearly 7 percent since Nov. 11, days after Trump was elected.

TRUMP'S DIPLOMAT“I didn’t want this job. I didn’t seek this job.” He paused to let that sink in. A beat or two passed before an aide piped up to ask him why he said yes. “My wife told me I’m supposed to do this.”

Agree or disagree with his positions, you can't argue with this quote: “I attack ideas. I don’t attack people. And some very good people have some very bad ideas. And if you can’t separate the two, you gotta get another day job.”- Justice Scalia

I'm OK with "that decision is the wrong one!" when talking about politics or desserts or pants. And it seems fine to post, "I disagree! That decision was the right one, and here's why"
But "You're such an idiot for having a different perspective!" is not how we should be talking to each other, ever. I can still think that Trump is making some terrible choices, while still having respect for those who can talk about why they think he's doing something right. In fact, I might change my mind about parts of it.
If you can't be open to changing your mind, it's become your religion.
but if we know better shouldn't we be able to force the other idiots to do what's right? we know for a fact that it's for their own good once we get the power we'll make some rules and take their money ha! that'll show them!
