Bloodrock, who was riding high on their hit DOA opened for her. The crowd was in no mood for her when she hit the stage and let it be known.

Felt really bad for her and learned that day what it meant to be a trooper. Now looking back, I have to wonder how she kept going on that tour knowing what lie in store for her each night.

That's too bad - she was so talented. It's funny that you posted in the Rundgren thread as well. Rundgren has said many times about her influence on his own work. He said something about how hearing "Eli and the Thirteenth Confession" changed his approach to songwriting. He eventually co-produced an album with her.
