I know I cast about here at RP and on Facebook, looking for answers to things that, it turns out, are right in front of my eyes. But you know I only ask after I've hit several brick walls in my search for help, right?

I'm in several trade groups on Facebook etc. for a few different subjects, and in each of those groups, several times per day, I'll see posts like this:
I am working to open up shop and wanted to get some insight as a newbie! Besides the obvious setting up shops and accounts what is required to become a seller? Are there certain permits needed? looking for any help!
I get that it would be awesome to ask one question and get a point-by-point to-do list without having to hunt around. But the thing is, in order to get into these groups, or become authorized to sell certain products, they literally had to click to dismiss the dialog box that contained the information they're asking for. It cannot be made more simple. Yet, every. single. day.

Also a chance to say that he was a gentle spirit with a speech impediment and functionally illiterate yet  over achieved every chance he got. I loved and admired him and can see us as boys all those years ago...he was fond of saying that his claim to fame was that his big brother won the local race and went to the national Soap Box Derby in Akron when we were maybe 12 and his brother was 15. He also was proud to skip church on Sunday. He and his brothers walked and fought the 3 blocks over there and often disappeared over in the woods to skip Sunday School and smoke cigarettes. His Dad was a D Day vet and alcoholic that wouldn't talk about it at all. His Mother kept them all together somehow and I would look out on Sunday mornings sometimes and see her walking to church with his young sisters in tow with a belt in her hand calling out to them that they better be at church when she gets there. LOL

I was into the whole paintball gaming way back in the late 80's early 90's myself. It got to be a little expensive and that's why I think I gave it up.  I think all my stuff is long gone now, but that is the other alternative to the air gun.

Paintball. Roughly 50 caliber if I'm not mistaken. It won't kill him or permanently injure him. You can turn down the propellant force also. I shot my close friend in the sternum once. It was a guerilla exercise with us winding up on opposing squads. I had a manual pump rifle and he had some super duper job that would fling paint shells as fast as he could pull the trigger. Anyhow he didn't get a chance to fling any because I put a welt on him before he could aim in my direction. That was the thing. He could have fired 10 to my 1 but...anyhow he was sure pissed off and even though he was 'dead' he started flinging at me anyhow! I probably shouldn't have laughed at him but that surprised look on his face when he got splattered cracked me up, especially because it was his rifle  that I shot him with . That boy was a bonafied
firearm aficionado and bow hunter and we grew up together.

Anyhow he died of pancreatic cancer in 2004. That's when I got pissed off. I miss you, Tater. Dammit...

But, I digress...

This is not going to be the 3rd year where I have no vegetable garden cause I will escalate it to an air gun if necessary and pepper his azz. {#Eek} {#Lol}

I ordered a print on demand set of sneakers which turned out to be sent from China for $8.00 shipping and I can track it. I paid Australia Post $25.00 for a registered letter and can't track it online. When I called the best they could do was say, "We gave it to US Post. It could take another couple of weeks to be sure it is delivered."
