Donald Trump told a private gathering of donors last year that he once sought to deter Russian President Vladimir Putin from attacking Ukraine by threatening to âbomb the sh*t out of Moscowâ in retaliation, according to audio provided to CNN.
âWith Putin I said, âIf you go into Ukraine, Iâm going to bomb the sh*t out of Moscow. Iâm telling you I have no choice,ââ Trump said during one 2024 fundraiser, according to the audio. âAnd then (Putin) goes, like, âI donât believe you.â But he believed me 10%.â
Trump later claimed he relayed a similar warning to Chinese President Xi Jinping over a potential invasion of Taiwan, telling him that the US would bomb Beijing in response.
âHe thought I was crazy,â Trump said of Xi, before noting that âwe never had a problem.â
Obama shouldâve screwed more porn stars and cheated more workers and hired more idiots and cozied up to more Russians and cut more services to prove he deserved it.
Lord knows I think Trump is a selfish incompetent idiot, and his ill-considered random âpoliciesâ are made of tissue paper and will ultimately destroy America. But, the willy-nilly firing of important people in the weather forecasting and warning world doesnât seem to have been an issue in this case.
It surely was a warning that we need to know more about what weâre doing, but in this particular case the three important missing people probably didnât make a difference in this instance.
