Actually Bill, Warren died in 2003 and the album he recorded as he was dying was "The Wind". Ironically, "Life'll Kill Ya" was written and recorded when he was healthy! He joked about it with his doctor.

I miss Warren... I think he'd still be putting out great music as only he could do. This is sort of a OK cover, but there's better cuts on the album.
Great interpretation of a fine song. This version is actually superior to the original.

Very nice. I heard a cover of Excitable Boy the other day but can't remember where or who did it.
one of my favorite songs.. never heard this version before, but it's beautiful, especially knowing how close he was to the end of this life
