I thought his last album was "My Ride's Here."

AMG says "My Ride's Here" was released in 2002, The Wind (last in their list) in 2003.

Always loved Warren's songwriting and music. Had the pleasure of seeing him perform live once, sitting right in front of him at the piano and guitar. His live show was just as wild and full of passion as Warren and his music were. The show was at The Old Waldorf in San Francisco, an intimate venue that was popular in the 1970s and 1980s but is no longer around, I caught Robin Williams, Steve Forbert, Van Morrison and many others there back in the day.

The Punchline (a comedy club) now occupies part of the space of the Old Waldorf.  And I too saw many amazing acts there, including Echo and the Bunnymen. But I missed Warren Zevon.
Fabulous - instant 9!
Darn good !  Very good !!

Really a very nice version.  Thanks for helping to keep Warren in our hearts.

Actually Bill, Warren died in 2003 and the album he recorded as he was dying was "The Wind". Ironically, "Life'll Kill Ya" was written and recorded when he was healthy! He joked about it with his doctor.

I miss Warren... I think he'd still be putting out great music as only he could do. This is sort of a OK cover, but there's better cuts on the album.
Great interpretation of a fine song. This version is actually superior to the original.

I lilke it.  Many of us, myself included at times, would perceive (delude) ourselves as falling under that umbrella.    {#Lol}

This song really makes me want some champagne of beer.
I am enjoying this sandwich.
How sad ...
Very nice.  I heard a cover of Excitable Boy the other day but can't remember where or who did it.
one of my favorite songs.. never heard this version before, but it's beautiful, especially knowing how close he was to the end of this life
Cool. Not normally a Zevon fan, but I like this cover.
