Yeah, baby!
The whole album is excellent, this is one of the best tracks.

10, cuz there's no 11. On the rating. On the volume knob, however...

This song is on one of my road trip playlists.  Car gets loud and fast!
Out f'ing standing!
Great!!! Good morning!

Tone for miles and this guys technique is GOD like... Nearly impossible to copy this.

One of the things that Sonny Landreth is known for is "fretting behind the slide".  Most slide players place the slide on their ring finger or picky and primarily use it to play melodies.  Landreth will use his pinky for slide, but use his other three fingers to fret chords or harmonies.  It's infinitely hard to play slide this way and very few sound as fluid as this.

Done again in 2013, looks like Bill found a good thing and is sticking with it!

He has that Eric Johnson fluidity....love it!

Still really love this guy's music. I'm wondering how it would sound if Sonny Landreth, Derek Trucks, and Charlie Sexton got together and made an album... Not much ego, but a lot of goooood sounds...

Miss you so much, Cynaera...  love this music...

very nice!
Nice rhythm. Smooth and silky. Jes. {#Devil_pimp}
Not hard to spot Sonny's playing — nice!
How do you follow Booker T & the M.G.s........oh this will do.
The man can play like nobody's business.... oh yea.... {#Notworthy}
This FREAKIN smokes. I've seen this guy twice. Jaw dropping.

This is what we need for a Friday afternoon.

Yeah baby.

Yeah,  I know...must have been drunk. Nothing wrong with a little Swenglish, is it?
Nice!
I'm diggin' this one very much!
There's a reason why Clapton called him the greatest guitarist on the planet. I don't know about that, but he sure as sunshine of our love isn't any slacker either.
ERIC JOHNSON...
STAT!
Makes me want to to skip off into the country side... ...think I will.
Well this just pretty well goes on forever, doesn't it.

got that right
My day would be made if this song was followed up by something from Robben Ford (or Derek Trucks).
WOW. How have I never heard this guy before. Awesome!!!
Never heard this before.. Amazing !!!
A really unique player
I had to click over to see what this was.  This is really great!  Best thing I have heard all evening.  Thanks!
The last half of this track (I missed the first half) is just about enough to get me to buy the whole album. Very nice.

True, but it's far grittier! NICE!
Very reminiscent of Eric Johnson's "Cliffs of Dover"—perhaps an "Oh, yeah?" response? It's been known to happen. Man, can this guy play. And I agree about seeing him live—awesome show.

Technically proficient, to be sure, but I detest his tone.
Based on live performances, I think the producer may be responsible - think pre-Don Was Bonnie Raitt recordings.

Sounds like Joe Satriani having his own little River Dance.

One of a very few instrumentals that gives me goose bumps.
Oh, my soul... Loves my Sonny Landreth!
Oh YEAH!!!{#Guitarist}
it's not everybody's cup of tea, but you've got to see this guy play to appreciate it. it's like he's got three hands sometimes.

Smokin'!  {#Smile}

Hey!
I live just 5 miles south of I-10.

Man, Sonny Landreth owns that guitar sound. :)
I could pick it out anywhere.
Damn, that woke me up.   7.9
the live version on Grant Street is unbeatable
First time i hear this guitar. Powerful.
Seems almost silly to say it because it's so obvious, but Sonny Landreth can flat flail.

It's his vocals that keep him from being a major star ... but, as they prove on Americanm Idol every week, there are plenty of "singers" in the world.

Only a select few can sling like this guy.

He obviously read my little pamflett "How to play the electric guitar".
Fantastic in concert! (standing 8 feet away) ;-)
Yowza
Wow. First. Unmistakable tone. Incredible band.
