Hilarious synchronicity - have never heard SCOTS on RP before and I was blasting Camel Walk (in one of my mixes) on my way to work this morning. Love these folk! Saw them in Vancouver back in the early 2000s and they put on a hell of show. El Vez opened for them and it was a hot night.

These guys are the real deal and put on a great live show. They play a fantastic mix of country, punk, humor, and yes, southern culture. I hope they stay in the rotation.

I don't mind being influenced but this is a little too similar to Born on the Bayou even for me - sound, chord progression, beat, guitar tone, you name it. Having said all that, I still kind of like the song.

It's been a LONG time since I've heard this band! First saw them live in Iowa City, IA...you know U of I, at a local bar. Must have been in the early 90's. Within a month I saw them on Good Morning America on some eastern campus. Haven't seen them since but always loved them. THANKS RP!!
