Seeing as "This sounds like" is a theme, how about Grant Lee Buffalo?

very interesting song (and comments!) I like that nervy guitar that winds its way through the vocals

reminds me of some kind of trippy, creepy version of Hot Chocolate's Emma
I am hearing the occasional hint of Marc Bolan.
Sounds like that big stud Sivert a bit....

Hmmm, I'm hearing Tom Petty more than George.
Yes, somewhat in the phrasing and draggy style, but this guy sounds like he opens his mouth more than Mr. Petty does when singing - not quite as nasal. Really, listening to his voice instead of just the phrasing, it doesn't sound much like Petty, Ferry, or Harrison to me.

I hear Bryan Ferry.
I must have been in a bad mood the first time I heard it, just raised it from a six to a seven.

Anyone else hear a weary George Harrison in the vocals?

7, to bad Itunes doesn't have this Album
He sounds a bit like Bryan Ferry.
Keith Emerson + David Hasselhoff = Emmerhoff
That song must have been written in the winter time... when it is dark and cold... so cold.......
At first I heard Prince's "When Doves Cry" and wondered what kind of moonshine the artist had been guzzling to pair that song with a banjo....
Luckily I was wrong.
ok, I get it..one of Bill's themes
I like the touch of the funereal banjo lick. Cool and creepy - 7.
Giving Chuck Prophet a run for his money.

Hey, you, get that drum kit out of the stairwell.
Yeah, the percussion sounds weird. Either it's a badly encoded MP3, or simply bad production.
Hey, you, get that drum kit out of the stairwell.
Old Man by Neil Young?
To the rhythm of the song:
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...

Thought it was copy of "when doves cry" at first.

Sitting here doing some work, this song had me thinking about an old flame I haven't seen or heard from in over fifteen years. Hi Jay, miss you.
This song is just too short...Love it :D:
Haven't heard this in awhile. Good Song. I like it when Bill mines the deep portions of the RP vault.

I love this song! Can anyone offer any hints on where to find this album? I gotta have it!
Simply amazing! So sexy ;)
I've heard this several times now, and i'm still diggin' it. great number.
It\'s great hearing music from countries other than the US/UK. Here in California, the internet is one of the few ways to access that music.
Diggit! lets hear more from these guys.
