They probably had the guitar restrung for recording.
new strings tend to produce this sound when changing chords and not muting them with the other hand

Could be a production choice, or just crappy mic placement. But it is distracting!

Today I learned, Sade is the name of the band, even though it's also the name of the lead singer. I've always thought of her as a solo artist.

Je mets tres souvent ce titre de Sade dans les oreilles, quand je monte en avion. Une fois assis, Relax total, un regard par le hublot sur la campagne en dessous où le jour se lève. Relax total... Tres heureux de retrouver ce titre dans le Mellow mix dont le nom prend encore plus tout son sens ! Merci RP pour être autant en phase avec tant de moments de ma vie ! From Toulouse (France)

I assume it's intentional. But it annoys the tits off me. Ruins a rather nice song.
