Lyrics:

Motel, the one by your town
To write the words again
To get down to pin in on your dress
When the gate opens at ten

On the way I think which is
All that I could be
At times the things we think to want
Are what we really need

Teresa's pot of all roses
She blazed down on me
The one that lies before me
Is the one that sets me free

Most in she doesn't say
Something that can ever be
Cactus gives a flower
The thorns is all I see

Terеsa's pot of all roses
She blazed rain on me
The one that lies before me
Is the one that sets me free

Teresa's pot of all roses
She blazed down on me
The one that dies before me
Is the one that sets me free

Most in she doesn't say
Something that can ever be
Cactus gives a flower
The thorns is all I see

Teresa's pot of all roses
She blazed down on me
The one that dies before me
Is the one that sets me free

Teresa's pot of all roses
She blazed rain on me
The one that lies before me
Is the one that sets me free
I have to disagree--this album doesn't even compare to their first album. The first one was so much more solid throughout, and the good songs ("El Canoero," "La Sirena", and "Un Beso al Viento" come to mind immediately) are quite a bit better than the good songs on Canto. I can see why Canto got better critical response, I guess--the band are stretching more, and expanding their sound. I really think the first CD was a much better package, though.
One of my uploads! I love this album, even more than their first album. Some songs may take some getting used to, but it's really excellent. Bill did not pick my favourite song, though. I guess the others are just a little too hardcore-Hispanic for RP. ;-) This one has a slightly more mainstream/jazzy atmosphere, and English lyrics.
