The instrumental is quite appropriate for the environs of Sligo Creek which is in suburban Maryland and always a nice visit for we locals for after 27 years away in Dallas Texas I've returned to the DC area which I again call home.
The wonderful guitarists Jorma Kaukonen and the late John Fahey also call DC home
Preceding Al Petteway's gift is one from John Fahey called Sligo River Blues.
May you enjoy John Fahey guitar instrumentals as much as Al Petteway.

Bruce Cockburn and Leo Kottke!

Compelling..
Reminds me of something by CSN(Y); Find the Cost of Freedom maybe?
Nice pickin' in any event.

Sure would like to hear more of this style of music on RP. How about some Laurence Juber (ex-Wings guitarist)?
Wow...this guy is great!  Met him a couple of times...  I believe he's playing a Tippin Guitar!  Awesome sound...

Hey, I was on the Sligo Creek Trail two days ago! ...it didn't really sound like this, but the song is nice?
Almost as good as Adrian legg!

(Certainly was a sucker for the Ken Burns stuff!)

This music is good for the ears...

I've been listening to Al for years and really enjoying this style of playing. If you like this, may I also recommend the following collections:

Hypnotic.  In a good way.

Makes me want to watch the Ken Burns National Parks series on PBS again.
