Until I looked it up, I actually thought this was a rare Rolling Stones tune (you know, the 'Drunk Sessions IV'). I wonder if it'd score any higher from them... From the Pogues, there's so much better. And from all artists in general, for that matter. No thanks.

Uhhh...who told this guy he could sing? Or is he just drunk right now? Reading the comments, it sounds like he probably is drunk. If this was the best they could get out of him, maybe they should have just found someone else or given up. This is awful. A 1.

oh come on. anything the pogues did was pretty good. macgowan was a flawed genius. he was just pissed all the time. nothing wrong with that.

It'd sound a lot better without the slobber ... or if he took the cotton balls out of his mouth. Strangely, however, I can't say that I hate the song ... it seems like a cross between a drunk Van M. and T. Waits in "The Piano Has Been Drinking."

My wife has requested that I post a comment. She doesn't like this song, says it's fruity.

I'm a huge Pogues fan but I gotta tell ya, I just hate this song. I don't know why this song is so universally revered by Pogues fans and even some non-fans. IMO it's one of their worst songs from the McGowan era.
