Oh come on people, this one is not that bad. I think everyone's expecting Sir Paul to reach back and pull out some long-lost gem of a Beatles recording that George Martin & Co. had somehow overlooked.
Unfortunately, my opinion also. As with Neil Young's new release, I keep listening, trying w/o success to find the gems. soloscottrey wrote:

Without John Lennon this is what you get. Forgettable.
I feel that I must at least give it a 5 based soully on who is singing, but it must be said that he might want to stop while he is ahead.
i hope that this is an inferior track. paul can do better.
Formulaic. Boring.
There are many tracks far better than this one on this new CD.
Someone on Soundcheck, the WNYC public radio program on music, said of McCartney's recent work, and particularly this song, that it's OK, but that he should really hire a lyricist...
